I'm not usually a trainer person.
I'm not entirely sure why, I just usually go for brogues or boots in the colder months as I've always thought they suited me better. That was until I discovered Inkkas anyway. Inkkas is a brand which prides itself in being incredibly socially conscious. Not only are they incredibly cool and colourful, but I have never come across a brand this culturally aware before. I'm a sucker for a good cause, so buying a pair of these was a no brainer for me.
Each of their product lines is linked to a charitable cause that will help a community that they work with, and all of the fabric is produced and manufactured in South America. If that doesn't sound like a good enough reason to grab a pair, a donation of all purchases goes towards helping to protect the Amazon Rainforest.
I opted for the style 'Cotton Candy', and they are possibly the brightest thing in my wardrobe. No sense in being subtle after all! They make a great statement piece and are super comfortable too. I picked mine up for £40 from Urban Outfitters, but you can also order them directly from the Inkkas website if UO doesn't stock the style you're after.
What do you think of Inkkas? Do you know any other brands that have a similar ethos?
Girl these are tight! I am already pulling out my bank card too gorgeous and look how cool the box is! (I'm a sucker for packaging!).
