I popped into this little cafe in Pokesdown for some lunch with a friend yesterday, and it's one of the nicest cafes I've ever been to! Little Pickle Deli is the perfect place to pop in for some lunch or a slice of cake, plus it's family run and independent which makes me even more inclined to visit. The interior is very 'shabby chic', with an eclectic mix of furniture and lovely table settings. My favourite thing about Little Pickle was all the special touches, from labels on the cake plates to the detail on the cutlery handles.
We both decided to try the soup of the day because it sounded so unusual; Blue Vinny cheese, pear and sweet potato. Although I was sceptical at first, this was hands down the best home made soup I've ever tried. Sadly we ran out of time, so no cake for us, but look how amazing they look! The atmosphere was lovely too, everyone seemed to know each other and the owners were super friendly. They also run lots of little events throughout the year, and even take bookings for Christmas parties, so if you're ever in the Bournemouth area, it's definitely worth popping in. You can also check out their Facebook page here.
Do you have any lovely little cafes like this where you live?
Nice Photos!!!
